What to keep in mind when writing a job application?

Anna-Karin Ehn, Permobil

Applying for a job as a PhD will vary depending on the hiring organization. An application for a job in the industry may be quite different from an application for an academic position at a university. The presentation will, among other things, describe the process of hiring at Permobil, a company with a purpose to make the lives of people living with disabilities easier and more enriching. What do they look for in an application? What is important to include? What should not be included? You will get some insights on how the HR (Human Resources) department think when it comes to hiring a PhD and others.
